Appeal for stolen quad

Burglary investigation under way 

We’re appealing for information about a burglary that occurred to the south of Whashton Thursday morning the 13th August 2026.

It happened in the early hours of the morning on Sturdy House Lane in farm buildings.

Suspects entered the outbuildings of the property and stole a Red Honda quad bike, Reg YJ10 OTN and a number of power tools. A few of the tools have distinguishing marks as described below:

Blue Makita 40v drill, identifiable by a welding rod burn mark on the battery.

Blue Makita angle grinder, identifiable by tape wrapped around the handle and a bolt welded onto the guard.

We’re particularly appealing for information about any vehicles that were seen in and around the area between 1am and 5am
